What is Madame Tussauds?

Madame Tussauds is the only wax attraction to get full celebrity endorsement, with involvement in the sitting, through the sculpting process and side-by-side unveiling when the waxwork is complete!

The incredibly lifelike figures are created by Madame Tussauds’ world-renowned sculptors, using the same techniques that Madame Tussauds used herself 200 years ago.

Star Wars at Madame Tussauds (opening 16 May 2015)

A must-visit for any Star Wars fan! Step right into huge, authentic sets depicting key scenes from the first six Star Wars movies - complete with special effects! - and watch 16 characters bring 11 classic scenes to life.

You can grab a selfie with your favourite film heroes; hang out with Han Solo in the legendary cantina bar; join captive Princess Leia in evil Jabba the Hutt’s Throne Room; step onto the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca; and witness the ultimate battle as father and son, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, embark on their final duel.

The stunning waxworks have been created in collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm, with Yoda modelled from an original model at Skywalker Ranch, California. To visit the Star Wars section, set over 2 floors, select ‘Entry including Star Wars’ when booking your tickets.

Madame Tussauds London opens daily except on Christmas Day (25 December)

  • Mon-Fri 9:30am – 5:30pm
  • Sat-Sun 9:00am – 6:00pm

Exceptions to the opening hours:

  • 19 - 23 December: 8.30am - 7pm
  • Christmas Eve (24 December): 9am - 2.30pm
  • Christmas Day (25 December): Closed
  • Boxing Day (26 December): 10am – 7pm
  • 27 - 31 December: 8.30am - 7pm
  • New Year's Day (1 January): 10am - 7pm

Please note: Madame Tussauds are currently trialling a new queue system (from 8th December 2014). When you arrive at the attraction, go to the Box Office (Door 1) to exchange your voucher for a ticket. Once you have exchanged your voucher at the entrance, you will be given a designated entry time, within 45 minutes, to enter Madame Tussauds. Or, if you prefer, you can choose a slot to come back later in the day for immediate entry.
