Since opening in March 2000, the EDF Energy London Eye has become an iconic landmark and has transformed the skyline of the capital city. An extraordinary piece of engineering and architecture, it is now a symbol of modern Britain. It is considered to be as important as Tower Bridge and Big Ben, and has been used in countless films and TV programmes.
The EDF Energy London Eye, London's most popular tourist attraction, is also the most visited paid-for attraction in the whole of Britain. The capsules (or ‘pods’) are spacious, air-conditioned, and have a seating area in the middle. They have glass walls all the way around, and offer complete comfort and safety.
The London Eye 4D is a groundbreaking 4D film, which you will have access to, with in-theatre effects, such as wind, bubbles and mist, to make the 4D. The film itself is a touching story of a little girl in London with her father. Her view of famous London landmarks is obscured by people and traffic, but a seagull draws her attention to The Eye and her father takes her for a flight; finally she has an amazing view of the city.
Sunset and evening time experiences on the EDF Energy London Eye offer a unique perspective on the capital – perfect as a conclusion to your day or the beginning to your evening. The last admission is 21.00 during July and August. In the winter months see London dramatically lit – the last admission is at 20:00. Prices as per standard tickets during the daytime.
The EDF Energy London Eye is open daily. The first flight takes place at 10:00.
