Historic Scotland Explorer Pass

• Adult: 16 to 59 years
• Concession: Senior Citizens (60+) and fulltime students on production of a valid student ID card
• Child: 5-15 years
• Under 5s: admitted free 
• Family - two adults plus up to 6 children aged 5 to 15

All children must be accompanied by an adult or concession visitor

Please note the 10 Day (over 30 days) Explorer Pass is only available to buy online, it cannot be purchased at Historic Scotland properties or Information Centres.

Whether you are on a full tour or taking a short break, a Historic Scotland Explorer Pass is an easy and money-saving way to see many of the country's top visitor attractions.

The pass gives you free access to 77 sites all over Scotland (List of attractions included in this pass) and comes with a wallet containing Historic Scotland’s main brochures, including a guide with information on each site and the address/postcode. There is also a map showing the locations of each property.
