See the famous sights of London while travelling on an open-topped double-decker bus, an iconic mode of transport which is part of the city's history in itself. All the buses are modern and comfortable, making the tour suitable for all the family.

There is a choice of three bus routes covering top attractions including: Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, The National Gallery, Downing Street, Big Ben, London Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London & Westminster Abbey.

Tickets are valid for 24 hours and include:

  • FREE: 24 hour Thames River cruise pass
  • Kids activity pack
  • FREE: London walking tours - the Changing of the Guard walk, the Jack the Ripper walk, and the Rock ‘n’ Roll walk (walking tours can only be taken during the validity of the bus ticket)

Tour times
London bus tours operate daily (except 25th December) between 8.30am – 7pm.
The bus departs every 15 – 20 minutes.

For the family
Younger guests will enjoy the Kids’ Club, which includes a unique children’s recorded commentary and a free Original London Tours activity pack.

Non English speakers
Tours are presented by English-speaking hosts. For non-English speakers, there are up to 7 recorded language commentaries for each tour - please see Route Information for details.

The Original London Sightseeing Tours offers three different routes:

    1. The Original Tour (Yellow Route)

The Original Tour takes you to the best of London's sights with an entertaining and informative 'live-guided' commentary in English.

Language: English recorded & live guides.

Duration: approximately 2 hours.

Main attractions: Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, The National Gallery, Downing Street, Big Ben, London Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, The Tower of London & Westminster Abbey.

    2. The City Sightseeing Tour (Red Route)

The City Sightseeing Tour is brilliant for families and covers the best of London's sights with an informative commentary in a choice of languages. Also available on this tour is the Kids Club, with a unique commentary designed for children and free activity packs.

Language: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese plus Kids Channel in English.

Duration: approximately 2 hours.

Main attractions: Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, The National Gallery, Downing Street, Big Ben, London Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, The Tower of London & Westminster Abbey.

    3. The Museum Tour (Blue Route)

The Museum Tour gives you easy access to many of London’s top Museums, shops and attractions. It runs between 8.15am and 5.15pm departing every 15 minutes and provides an informative commentary in a choice of languages.

Language: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese plus Kids Channel in English.

Duration: approximately 1½ hours

Main attractions: Kensington Palace, Baden-Powell House, Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Brompton Oratory, Harrods, Knightsbridge, Harvey Nichols, Hyde Park, Ritz Hotel, Piccadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue, British Museum, Russell Square, Wellington Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Albert Memorial, Kensington High Street & the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain.

There is a choice of three FREE London Walking tours:

All walking tours take approximately 90 minutes.

    1. The Original Changing of the Guard Walk

Departs: daily at 10.30am from The Original London Visitor Centre.

The tour: see Buckingham Palace, St James's Palace and the regiments that guard them in this exciting walk as you march alongside the guards at Buckingham Palace.*

* On non-guard change days walks go to Buckingham Palace and to St James's Palace where you can take photos of sentry boxes. The guard change does not take place if it is raining.

    2. Rock ‘n’ Roll Walk

Departs: daily 13:00 from The Original London Visitor Centre

The tour: see The Beatles on a roof top, the studio where The Rolling Stones recorded their first album and David Bowie recorded and the location of the Sex Pistols’ first gig – it’s only Rock 'n' Roll and I like it!

    3. The Original Jack The Ripper Walk

Departs: daily at 3.30pm from The Original Tour stop at Tower of London, Tower Hill.

The tour: walk in the footsteps of the world's most infamous serial killer as we reveal his murderous tale from the streets of Whitechapel in 1888.

Please note that the Jack the Ripper walk will finish at Aldgate East tube station and not at one of the Original London Sightseeing bus stops.
