A lift will take you up to the Tower Bridge walkways, 42 metres above the River Thames. There, you will be able to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of both east and west London. The walkways boast special viewing windows which allow you to take photographs un-obstructed by glass, providing you with the perfect photo opportunity. You will also be able to use the Tower Bridge museum touch screen to learn about the famous buildings you can see.
The second part of the tour will take you to the Victorian engine rooms, which house the huge and beautifully maintained steam engine that used to power the Bridge. Here you can watch a virtual bridge lift shown on a giant screen.
The Exhibition features information about key events in Tower Bridge history, ranging from royal visits to dare-devil stunts. You will also learn about the Bridge's construction and why it was needed.
With so much on offer, the Exhibition really is a truly memorable Tower Bridge experience!
