The museum is designed to be funny and interesting rather than be too scary, but it is gory and parental discretion is advised.

Sick to Death is all on one level with wheelchair access throughout the building, however there are several steps leading up to the entrance on the historic Rows.
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet.

Some areas which deal with more grown-up topics, such as sexual health, are open to everyone but are set apart in a separate section, divided by a gate, so that you can choose not to look if you do not wish to.
Sick to Death is not a scare attraction and there is nothing that will jump out and surprise any visitors, but some areas will be dimly lit and will incorporate sound effects.
There are no flashing lights or strobe effects used anywhere throughout the building.
