Here’s your chance to sample some single malt whisky, visit a medieval castle and explore the Highlands to give you an amazing Scottish experience in one day.

We head for the Highlands via Stirling, Scotland’s ancient Capital and make a stop at the imposing tower built to honour one of our national heroes and patriots; the Wallace Monument. Onwards through the scenic beauty of the Trossachs National Park, we head to the 14th Century Doune Castle, made famous in the classic movie ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’.

We pass Loch Earn and head through rural Perthshire to the Famous Grouse Experience, an award winning visitor centre and whisky distillery. The optional guided tour will not only give you an insight into how ‘uisge beatha’ (the ‘water of life’) is made, but also takes you on an interactive journey to discover the history of one of Scotland’s most iconic whisky brands.

Before we head south, we stop at the quaint village of Dunkeld, on the banks of the shimmering River Tay. Made famous by Shakespeare’s Macbeth, it is also renowned for its impressive cathedral. Then it’s past the magnificent Forth Bridges and home to Edinburgh.
