Often called the eighth wonder of the world, Cornwall’s Eden Project is a series of bubble-like ‘Biomes’ nestled in a crater surrounded by breath-taking scenery. One of the UK’s most popular tourist attractions, explore all this dramatic global garden has to offer including rainforests, mangrove swamps and treetop gardens!

Eden Project tickets entitle you to:

The Rainforest Biome: See how chocolate grows and which plants are used in cola and chewing gum. There are also rubber trees, mangrove swamps and even a Malaysian hut complete with a paddy field!

Top tip:  view it all above the treetops from the Lookout for a breath-taking view.

Mediterranean Biome: provides a sensory journey past lemon trees, vines and perfumed herbs, through the world’s warm, temperate regions: the Mediterranean, South Africa and California. Discover over 1,000 types of plant, from poppies and lupins in Californian grassland to dazzling South African proteas.

Education centre: the core of the Eden Project. Packed full of interactive displays; wind the handle of the giant nutcracker to learn about energy and processing and find out about evolution and climate change.

Outdoor gardens: find out about fuel-providing plants, visit inspirational global allotments, and discover the secret garden revealing fascinating folklore and stories behind plants.
