The beats of old England are back! Wild Wild Whipsnade launches at Easter 2010.
They roamed these streets before you. Hunted near your supermarkets. And even grazed in your back garden! The wild beasts that once called England home are returning to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. Meet bears, European bison, wolves, lynx and moose, along with the mystical wolverine. There are that animals that our ancestors hunted - and sometimes were hunted by! Follow the trail to see the mammals behind the myths, understand their origins and how they lived.
With acres of beautiful countryside, outdoor enclosures filled with some of the world's most awesome animals such as lions, elephants, rhinos and giraffes as well as fantastic views across the Chiltern Downs, every visit is sure to be a big adventure!
