It is best to add the top-up voucher to the vodafone SIM card before you travel as the amount can take 24 hours to be registered by Vodafone.

• Blackberry messaging will work, as that is based on the PIN number of the device itself.

• This SIM card is not compatible with an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S as these devices require a micro SIM card.

• The prepay sim will allow for data use (emails and internet).  Your device should pick up all the correct setting required to use the internet straight away. If it does not work, then the device will need the Vodafone Prepay settings loaded. This can be done via text message from Vodafone customer service or by going to Vodafone’s website. Alternatively you can take the phone in to a Vodafone store.

• The cost for data use (whether emails coming in or surfing the internet) is £1 per 25MB per day (up to a maximum of £5 per day).

Vodafone can suspend, restrict or stop providing the services (all or part of them) in the following circumstances:

• If you choose not to use the service for 180 days. Using this service means making any chargeable outbound calls (but not calls to 191) or topping up your account.
• If Vodafone suspend the mobile phone because you have chosen not to use the services for 180 days, Vodafone will, if you ask within 90 days of the suspension, reconnect the services and make available any previous credit held on your account at the time of the suspension. If you have not kept to this agreement or not used the services for 270 days, and Vodafone will disconnect your mobile equipment, you will lose any credit held on your account.
• If calls need to be made whilst outside the UK, you will need to contact Vodafone so roaming can be activated on the SIM card. Calls will be charged on different rates according to the country you are roaming in.
