The outward journey must be made on the outbound travel date
shown on the e-ticket, you can use the ticket on a later date, the return journey must be made within 30 days of the outbound travel date. As per our terms & conditions, airport transfers are non-refundable.
Do I need to redeem my e-ticket?
You will receive an e-ticket when purchasing online, you will need to print your e-ticket at home and present it at the Stansted Express station or to the onboard staff for it to be scanned as a valid ticket for travel.
What’s the journey time from Stansted to London?
The Stansted Express takes just 45 minutes to travel between the airport and London Liverpool Street station in Zone 1.
How often do the Stansted Express trains depart?
Stansted Express services depart every 15 minutes.
Where do the Stansted Express trains depart?
At Stansted Airport, follow the signs inside the terminal building for the train station.
At London Liverpool Street, check the electronic boards inside the station to see which platform you need for the next Stansted Express service.
What are the earliest and latest trains on the Stansted Express schedule?
Departing from London Liverpool Street, the first train is at 3.40am on Mondays and 4.10am Tuesday to Sunday. The 4.10am services do not stop at Tottenham Hale; the first service to stop here is at 4.40am. The last train is at 11.25pm.
Departing from Stansted Airport, the first train is at 5.30am every day. The last train is at 12.30am Monday to Thursday and 1.30am Friday to Sunday. Please note that late trains do not stop at Tottenham Hale.
How far in advance can I book my Stansted Express airport transfer?
You can book upto 6 months in advance. You will be emailed an e-ticket when you purchase a Stansted Express airport transfer. If you have booked a return trip, this ticket can be used for both outward and return journeys. The outward journey must be made on the outbound travel date
shown on the e-ticket, and the return journey must be made within 30 days of the outbound travel date.
I have not received my ticket yet – what should I do?
Stansted Express tickets are sent by e-ticket to the email address you provide when purchasing. It will be emailed within 1 working day of purchase. Please check your spam or junk mail folder as your email filtering system may have miscategorised our email. Please contact us if you have not received your e-ticket after 3 working days.
