Despite having sold only one painting in his lifetime, Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh went on to posthumously become one of the most treasured artists of all time. You can now come closer than ever before to this extraordinary man’s artwork, life and legacy through the award-winning, immersive exhibition Meet Vincent van Gogh in London.

• Prestigious source, unique exhibition in London: This unique, once-in-a-lifetime exhibition – curated by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam – will be using cutting edge audio-visual techniques to take visitors on an unforgettable journey with van Gogh himself. See how the artist expressed his many emotions through heavy brush strokes and dramatic colours.
• Hands-on and interactive: Feel like you are quite literally stepping into van Gogh’s paintings when entering this bedroom in Arles, come face to face with the Yellow House and touch replicas of some of his most iconic artworks to sense the intensity of his painting.
• Self-guided tour through van Gogh’s life and art: You’ll receive a pair of headsets to wear throughout this self-guided exhibition. Narrated in part by the artist himself (thanks to the hundreds of letters he wrote to his brother Theo), the commentary will take you through each of the exhibition’s six sections and serve as a wonderful insight into his thoughts.

Although it features no original artwork, Meet Vincent van Gogh is a highly immersive, comprehensive and emotional look into van Gogh’s creative process. It also reflects on the personal difficulties of this deeply troubled man, who took his own life at the age of 37. This exhibition is a both a narrative and celebration of Vincent van Gogh, showcasing the artist’s highs and lows and helping visitors meet the man behind the myth.

Operating times:

The exhibition opens daily. Between 7th February and 21st May 2020:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday: 10:00 - 18:00
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00 - 22:00

Entries will be every 30 minutes to avoid overcrowding.

• Your tickets cannot be cancelled.
• Ticket price includes a £1.50 booking fee.
• Allocated time slots will be given for each ticket booked to avoid overcrowding.
• School groups can only attend between Monday – Wednesday 10:00am – 3:00pm.
• The average duration of the experience is 1 hour 30 minutes.
