Afternoon Tea

Nearest tube: (Fortnum and Mason) Green Park, (Grosvenor Hotel) Marble Arch, (Lyuten's Lounge) Tottenham Court Road

After all this culture you’re bound to be hungry! The quintessential English Afternoon Tea served at the historical tea and coffee specialists Fortnum and Mason does not get much better – and it’s right opposite the Royal Academy.
You could also take your tea at London’s largest five-star hotel, the Grosvenor Hotel. They have named their sumptuous ‘Anna’s Tea’ after the Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford who invented it.

Did you Know? In the 18th Century it was customary to take the last meal of the day much later at night. The gap created between lunch and dinner gave Anna a ‘sinking feeling,’ so she began to instruct her butler to prepare tea and little cakes to stave off hunger.

Theatre Passport

London’s West End offers some of the world’s finest musicals and plays and what better way to end your day of culture than with a thrilling live show!

The Theatre Passport is the most cost-effective and flexible way to enjoy London’s most popular shows. For much less than you'd otherwise pay, you can select the best available seats in a range of participating shows including Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Blood Brothers and the brand-new Respect La Diva!
