Children information
- Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult
 - All children must remain under direct supervision at all times
 - Baby changing facilities are available
 
Dartmoor Zoo accessibility information
- The majority of Dartmoor Zoo is accessible for wheelchair users, buggies and those with walking difficulties
 - Concession for disabled guests, students, pensioners and free tickets for carers available
 - Concessions must show an appropriate form of ID at the entrance gate
 - In places the surface becomes quite rugged and some paths are steep
 - Registered assistance dogs are welcome. Owners must show the identification and all assistance dogs must wear their identifying jackets

- Very occasionally the Zoo may be closed due to extreme weather or other events
 
- The Zoo is open every day from 10:00 am - 4:00pm
 - Last entry is one hour before closing time
 - The Zoo is closed 24, 25 and 26 December
