Children information
- Baby changing facilities are available.
- Under 4 enter for free and tickets can be collected upon arrival.
- Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Accessibility information
- Belfast Zoo is located on a hill and some of the paths are located on steep gradients. The zoo map highlights areas with higher gradients.
- Visitors can book an accessible ‘Zoomobile’ buggy. This vehicle can carry one wheelchair user with up to three non-wheelchair users, or five non-wheelchair users.
- Free carer’s admission for those visitors providing official proof (documentation).
- Manual wheelchairs are available to borrow on a first-come first-served basis.
- Registered assistance dogs are welcome.

The regular operating times are the following:
- 3rd April – 1st October: Open 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, last entry 4:30 pm.
- 2nd October – 3rd April: Open 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, last entry 2:30 pm.
From your booked entry time, you can stay until the Zoo closes.
