Buckingham Palace State Rooms Tickets

• Please print out the provider’s confirmation and show it at the attraction to receive your entry ticket for the Buckingham Palace State Rooms. 

Children information

• Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Children up to 5 years old can access free of charge.
• Toilets and baby-care facilities are available in the Garden and at the exit from the State Rooms.
• For safety reasons, pushchairs are not allowed within the State Rooms. They must be checked in and collected at the exit.
• Baby carriers and hip seats can be borrowed free of charge.
• The family multimedia tour is available in English and is aimed at families with children under 12.

Accessibility information

• The Buckingham Palace state rooms are almost entirely wheelchair accessible and alternative arrangements can be made for visitors requiring step-free access. Please contact our customer services team should you require this option.
• Accessible toilets and limited seating are available.
• The multimedia guide is available in British Sign Language (BSL) and with subtitles, and an audio-descriptive guide is available for blind or partially-sighted visitors.

Buckingham Palace ticket restrictions

• More than 10 tickets (in any combination) cannot be purchased at one time.
• Tickets to this attraction are non-amendable and non-exchangeable.
• Photography and filming, including for personal use, is not allowed in the State Rooms. Visitors are however encouraged to take pictures in the Garden.
• No food or drinks, except for bottled water, are allowed during the visit.
• Animals, except for guide, hearing or assistance animals, will not be admitted to the Palace.
• Bags larger than 45cm x 20cm x 30cm are not allowed in the Palace. Visitors can make use of luggage storage facilities at Victoria Station.

• Expect additional airport style security check upon arrival at the venue.
• Visitors are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled time of visit.
• It is recommended for visitors to wear comfortable shoes during the tour.
