During the summer opening, visitors can explore the 19 magnificent State Rooms, including the Throne Room and Ballroom, featuring artworks from the Royal Collection.
A typical visit lasts around 2 to 2.5 hours, including time spent exploring the State Rooms. You can also visit the Garden Café and the Garden Shop.
Buckingham Palace is easily reached by public transport. The nearest Tube stations include Green Park, St James’s Park and Victoria, all within walking distance. Several bus routes also stop nearby.
Entrance to the State Rooms is via gate C on Buckingham Gate, London, SW1A 1AA.
The State Rooms are open seasonally during the summer months, typically from July to September.
