A visit to Adventure Parc Snowdonia is completely unique – it’s the world’s first inland surfing pool, generating the longest manmade surfing waves on the planet.

Built with spectacular Wavegarden technology, Adventure Parc Snowdonia’s waves are of varying difficulty in different areas of the pool – so total beginners can learn to surf alongside professional athletes.

Surfing lessons

Whether you’re thinking about becoming a surfer or just fancy trying your hand at the sport, Adventure Parc Snowdonia is the perfect place to learn!

You’ll never have to wait for a wave, and the predictable height of beginner, intermediate and advanced waves mean you’ll learn quickly and be riding the waves like a pro in no time.

Perfect for first timers: Take a Beginner Level 1 Lesson

This lesson includes 30 minutes on land and an hour on the water – introduction to surf equipment, safety awareness, position on the surfboard, paddle technique, how to catch a wave, and the pop up technique.

There is also a 3 day surfing course if you really want to learn the ropes.

How to use your eVoucher

Important: Upon booking your tickets to Adventure Parc Snowdonia you will receive a confirmation of payment along with a PDF e-voucher from VisitBritain. You must print your PDF e-voucher and bring it with you, and you will receive an official ticket in exchange for your e-voucher. Please note: You must call Adventure Parc Snowdonia to arrange which day you want to visit upon receipt of your e-voucher. Contact details on your e-voucher.

Adventure Parc Snowdonia opening times

Adventure Parc Snowdonia is open April-December. Opening hours may vary throughout the year, so we advise that you double check these times when booking. 

• Monday-Saturday 8:00am-11:00pm
• Sunday 8:30am-11:00pm

Closure dates

Tickets for visiting Adeventure Parc Snowdownia will not be valid to use on closure dates. 

• The park is closed typically from 22 December until 20 April.  

How to get to Adventure Parc Snowdonia?

• Address: Conway Rd, Dolgarrog, Conwy LL32 8QE
• Nearest train stations: Llandudno, Llandudno Junction or Dolgarrog
• Nearest airports: Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham

By car

• Adventure Parc Snowdonia is 7 miles from the main A55 North Wales arterial route with a final run-in 15 minutes from the main expressway
• Liverpool and Manchester city centres are around 1.5 hours’ drive away, and the city of Chester is 50 minutes away. If you’re coming from further afield the A55 links with the North West’s motorway network at the M53 and M56

By train

• There are trains that operate a direct service from London Euston to Llandudno Junction service, which takes just under 3 hours. There is a taxi rank at Llandudno Junction station
• If you’re starting your train journey in Wales, Arriva Trains Wales operates regular services to Llandudno Junction and Dolgarrog. Please note: Dolgarrog is a request stop and a 20 minute walk from Adventure Parc Snowdonia

Equipment, safety and age restrictions

• Surfboards, buoyancy aids and helmets for the crash and splash lagoon are included in the price. Wetsuits are available to hire at £5 each, or you can bring your own.
• On arrival you will be asked to sign a statement of risk confirming your ability to participate. 
• All participants must be able to swim and be confident swimming in open water. For any participant under the age of 16 years old, a parent/guardian or another adult authorised by the parent/guardian will be required to agree to their participation in activity sessions (they will be required to sign agreeing to these terms and conditions on behalf of the under 16 year olds on the day).
• Surfing lessons: Must be 12 or older. Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult also taking part in the lesson.
• 3 day surf course: Must be 18 or older.
