Inspired by Paris’ Eiffel Tower, the Blackpool Tower is a feat of architecture. The Tower Eye is a unique viewing platform at the top of the tower, offering spectacular views across the Irish Sea and the surrounding countryside.
The Tower Eye experience
Board a thrilling express lift that will take you to the top of the historic, Grade I listed Blackpool Tower. During your ascent, you’ll see some of the Tower’s impressive and unique architecture, including bespoke terracotta glazed panels, designed by historic local potters Burmantofts.
At 158m tall, the Eye viewing deck gives you panoramic views of the Blackpool seafront, and on a clear day, as far as the Lake District, the Isle of Man and north Wales.
Climb to the second and third floors of the viewing deck, which are fully exposed to the elements, and get an even closer look at the views.
The Sky Walk
Dare to step out onto the glass Sky Walk, made from 5cm of solid clear glass letting you look directly down at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
The Sky Walk can hold the weight of two elephants and offers a unique, floor-to-ceiling view to the crashing waves below for those who are brave enough!
