Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth and Southsea train stations are both about a 30 minute walk away.
Accessibility (Disabled access):
The museum is fully accessible for visitors, with wheelchair access, accessible toilets (2), some tactile displays + a quick and easy guide.
Once a month a 'Chilled out museum' event is held where display lighting is turned up and sound is turned down for a quieter visit.
Parking:
There is a large pay and display car park next to the museum and on street parking in front of the museum. Current charges for the car park are:

Food/Drink:
The D-Day Story Cafe has a good range of affordable food and drink and offers a refilling service for water bottles. We ask that visitors do not consume their own food or drink while visiting the museum.

Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
