The house: Described as “the most perfect house to survive from the Middle Ages” Haddon Hall is set in the heart of the idyllic Peak District and dates back to the 12th century.

The gardens: The gardens provide perfect views of the Peak District surrounding the house. Green fingered visitors will love the rose gardens, which were recently redesigned with loving attention to detail by Chelsea Flower Show winner Arne Maynard.
