Afternoon tea
Inspired by a Midsummer Night’s Dream, this afternoon tea menu can be traced back to the food and characters encountered in what is considered by many to be one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays. Ingredients include pea flower, from which Oberon’s love potion is squeezed, and mulberries, from the fruit tree under which Pyramus and Thisbe agree to meet in ‘the play within a play’.
To top off this unique dining experience, your delicacies will be served upon bespoke crockery depicting the themes of the play, specially designed by illustrator Annika Wester.
