Blenheim Palace
As the tour departs London at 8.30am, sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery on the way to your first stop, the breathtaking 300-year-old estate of Blenheim Palace – often referred to as the ‘real Downton Abbey’.
Your tour includes entry to the Palace and spectacular grounds, where you’ll have time to explore some of the finest State Rooms in Britain, bask in the timelessly beautiful Renaissance-inspired architecture, and stroll through landscaped gardens designed by ‘Capability’ Brown.
Burford and The Cotswolds
Enjoy views of rolling green fields, sleepy villages and iconic English architecture on a panoramic tour through some of the Cotswolds’ prettiest villages and towns.
You’ll drive through the picturesque market town of Burford, home to a bustling shopping street. The sleepy, picturesque town dates back to Saxon times and is home to historic, beautiful stone houses and a medieval bridge.
Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-On-The-Wold
Within an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, and known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, Bourton-on-the-Water is a striking and beautiful town. You’ll stop here with some time to explore, admire its elegant low bridges and stroll along the magnificent Main Street.
Enjoy spectacular views at your final stop of the day, Stow-on-the-Wold, which sits atop an 800ft hill, making it the highest town in the Cotswolds. Relax and stroll through the enchanting streets, before making your way back onto the bus for the journey back to London.
Your tour bus returns to London at approximately 6.30pm.
