Prepare for the experience
Children information:
- Participants must be 5+ years. Children aged 5 - 10 must be accompanied on the activity by an adult aged 18 or over. This adult must have a full activity ticket.
- Guests aged 10 - 14 years old will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied. A parent or guardian is required to remain on site.
Accessibility information:
- The Bear Grylls Adventure has step-free access, and is wheelchair accessible.
- To qualify for a free carer ticket, you must provide proof of your disability and pre-book it with us 4 weeks in advance of your visit. We ask that you please book your paid-for tickets, and then confirm this order number to this email so we may add your carer ticket to the same activity, date and time so you may all take part in the activities together on the day. Please get in touch with [email protected] to claim your free carer ticket.
- The Bear Grylls Adventure has disabled parking slots right next to the adventure park entrance. To book, please complete our Disabled Parking Booking Request Form, which can be found on this page: www.beargryllsadventure.com/accessibility We ask that you do this with at least 3 days notice so we are able to pass your details to our partners at The NEC. We cannot guarantee reservations made on the day of your visit.

Additional information:
- Please arrive at the attraction at least 30 minutes before your activity starts, to allow time to check in, put away your belongings and get ready for the activity.
- We recommend wearing comfortable active wear you can move in.
- Lace up trainers are a must. No flip flops, heels or open toed sandals will be allowed.
- We would recommend tying back long hair.
- Lockers are available free of charge on the day to safely store all belongings while taking part in your adventure.
- Pregnant guests are not able to take part in any activity at The Bear Grylls Adventure.
- Opening days and times vary – you can view availability when booking.
- Climbing experience duration: 60 minutes.
- Assault course access: All day.
