Windsor Castle
The tour departs from Victoria and first heads west out of London to Windsor and its spectacular castle. Immerse yourself in nearly a millennium of British royal history at the majestic and magnificent Windsor Castle. Tour the lavish State Apartments at your own pace and enjoy the priceless royal art collection in a venue still used for state occasions. Visit the architectural marvel of St. George’s Chapel and see the final resting place of various royals and members of the aristocracy, including Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour.
Stonehenge
Continuing west away from London, your air conditioned bus takes guests to the ancient monument of Stonehenge. The 40 tonne rocks that form this 5,000 year old site will intrigue visitors, just as they have mystified scholars and historians for centuries. Is it a religious temple? An astronomical clock? Or a Bronze Age burial ground? Decide for yourself and be captivated by Stonehenge’s beautiful rural setting in the Wiltshire countryside.
Bath
Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. The gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey, the stunning Georgian architecture, the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modeled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio, are all sights to linger on in the memory of your day.
Roman Baths and Pump Rooms
No tour of Bath would be complete without a visit to the famous Roman Baths that gave the city its name. This beautifully preserved bathing complex still flows with water from Britain's only hot spring. Marvel at the dazzling torch-lighting ceremony as dusk falls (not applicable in summer) and sip Bath's healing waters in the Pump Room, a stunning neo-classical salon.
Estimated arrival time back in London is approximately 7.45pm.
