Dating back to 1908, The Waldorf Hilton was initially a combined theatre, hotel and shopping complex. The Homage Patisserie, where you will take afternoon tea, was once the former making room, where Stage Door Johnnies waited for the Gaiety Girls after their performances. So you really will be in the heart of London’s theatre history!

With a glass of champagne in hand, you can experience British heritage at its finest. 

Visit the Waldorf and you can go home saying you have enjoyed an afternoon tea where the rich and famous have been going for years, including Elizabeth Taylor, former James Bond himself, Pierce Brosnan and Pavarotti! 

To ensure your time at the Waldorf is as enjoyable as it should be, please read the following information for your guidance: 

  • You are able to book for 6 persons maximum. If you wish to enjoy with more than 5 other people, you must request this to the venue directly. 
  • No refund for late cancellations and no shows will be given, so make sure you check your diary before booking! 
  • If you wish to cancel the booking, please contact the VisitBritain customer service team 4 days (96 hours) prior to the day booked.

Please note: When you select your tickets, please enter the date and time when you wish to enjoy your afternoon tea. Once you have made your booking we will check to see if the time you have requested is available and send you an email confirming your booking. Please print the confirmation email and bring it with you when you visit.

Please note that the Homage at the Waldorf will be closed on bank holidays and Mother's Day.
