St George’s Chapel

One of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England, the imposing St. George's Chapel is sure to take your breath away. As well as housing the tombs of various monarchs, the chapel has hosted 14 royal weddings throughout its history - including those of Queen Victoria's children.

Queen Mary's Dolls' House

Built in the early 1920’s, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House is the largest and most famous dolls’ house in the world. It’s filled with immaculately produced miniature replicas made by leading artists and craftsmen. The house even features electric lighting and flushing toilets!

State Apartments

The spectacular State Apartments are a series of stately rooms furnished with some of the finest pieces from the Royal Collection, including paintings by acclaimed artists such as Rembrandt and Canaletto.

Semi-State Rooms

Regularly used by The Queen for official events and ceremonies, these lavish private apartments are some of the most richly decorated interiors in the Castle. They were originally created for George IV, who was known for his love of fine objects and opulent design.*

*The Semi-State Rooms are only open from autumn until spring each year. They will not be open when the State Apartments are closed.

Changing of the Guard

This spectacular tradition is not to be missed! Typically, the 30-minute ceremony takes place at 11am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but the schedule can change.
