Is there a time limit for the experience?

There’s no strict time limit once you’re on the viewing platforms. You can stay as long as you like, up until the closing time.
Is The View from The Shard accessible for people with disabilities?

The attraction is fully accessible from the ground level up to the viewing galleries. There are lifts, and they have facilities like wheelchairs available.
Also, if a disabled visitor needs a carer, a free carer ticket is available (with appropriate documentation) — but note: the free carer ticket cannot be pre-booked.
Are outside food and drinks allowed?

You cannot bring in food or drink purchased outside, but there are bars on Levels 69 and 72 where you can buy snacks, hot and cold drinks, etc.
Is it the View from the Shard a child-friendly experience?

Absolutely! Children aged 3 and under don’t need a ticket — they enter for free. The building is fully accessible from the ground floor up to the open-air viewing platform.
Pushchairs (prams) can be stored during your visit, there’s a free storage area near security. There are also baby-changing facilities.
