Prepare for the experience
- Please make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your selected departure time for boarding.
- Please be aware that Ultimate London Adventure experience may be suspended for safety reasons if adverse weather conditions arise.
- Vessels must hold a minimum of 8 passengers, vessels that are not filled with the minimum passengers will be contacted the day before to choose an alternative time or date for their Ultimate London Adventure experience.
Accessibility information
- Guests in wheelchairs must be able to transfer themselves to the vessels seating and be able to sit unaided whilst on-board, there are a few steps with hand rails to the vessels seating area.
Ticket restrictions
- The experience is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Children 10-14 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the experience.
- Be advised the river is an ever changing environment and the vessel may be subject to unpredictable movements, due to the nature of the experience it is not suitable for anyone with pre-existing neck/back issues.
- The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
The Ultimate London Adventure experience by Thames Rocket operating times vary throughout the year. You will be able to check live availability upon booking, however, average operating times are:

Do you get wet on the Thames Rockets?
You usually stay dry during the Thames Rockets experience. The boats are designed to minimise spray, and although you may feel the river breeze and occasional light splashes, getting soaked is very unlikely. Waterproof jackets are available if conditions require them

Thames Rockets operates in most weather conditions, including rain. However, trips may be suspended if conditions are considered unsafe, such as during high winds or extreme weather. In these cases, guests are contacted to rearrange or receive a refund.

There is no single “best” time, as every departure offers a different experience. Daytime tours provide the clearest views of London’s landmarks, while later departures can feel more atmospheric, especially as the city quietens on the river. Availability varies seasonally.
