Thorpe Park has exclusively revealed the launch date for their newest ride: Hyperia - the UK’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster - as 24 May. The launch date coincides with the park’s 45th anniversary, a Spring bank holiday weekend to remember.

How to get there

- The park is located just 20 miles from Central London, with plenty of transport links between Junctions 11 and 13 of the M25.
- Some Sat Navs may have difficulties pinpointing the correct postcode on the map so keep an eye out for the big coaster track over the main entrance on Staines Road.
