JCB Cardmember Offer - terms and conditions

The Promotion is the right to use the promotional code JCBOFFER (the “Promotional Discount Code”) sent to you via JCB e-communications to claim a discount of 15% off all products from the following websites: VB Shop Japan (https://www.visitbritainshop.com/jp/en/special-offer-jcb-customers) and VB Shop Rest of World (https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/en/special-offer-jcb-customers). The 15% discount is capped at £20 per order. For example, if a product costs £100, then with a 15% discount it would be £15 off and therefore eligible as it is under the £20 cap. The 15% discount is only on the product, shipping or handling charges for shippable products is excluded from this Promotion.

1. The Promotional Discount Code can only be redeemed by using the code JCBOFFER at checkout on eligible products.
2. The Promotional Discount Code must be redeemed within 12 months from the start date (02nd March 2026) or when the campaign funding ends, whichever is the earliest. After that time, the Promotional Discount Code will be void and will not work.
3. Only participating attractions are included in the Promotion. Head to the Japan JCB Special Offer page (https://www.visitbritainshop.com/jp/en/special-offer-jcb-customers) or the Rest of World Special Offer page (https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/en/special-offer-jcb-customers) for full details of participating attractions.
4. The Promotional Discount Code can only be used against the price of entry to a participating attraction, experience, guided tour, TFL product or theatre show. The full discount of the Promotional Discount Code must be used in one booking.
5. For the VB Shop Japan website (https://www.visitbritainshop.com/jp/en/special-offer-jcb-customers), the £20 cap will be dynamically calculated based on the current exchange rate for £20. The currency rate is updated by VisitBritain monthly.
6. Only JCB card members are eligible for the Promotional Discount Code and only JCB cards will be valid for the purchasing of the products. Any other card, e.g. Visa, Mastercard etc will not be valid.
7. Each JCB card member can only use the Promotional Discount Code once per month against one email address.
8. If a purchase attempt is rejected, the customer may retry using the same email address on up to three different devices in total. Further attempts beyond this limit will not be accepted.
9. All products purchased via this Promotion are non-refundable.  
10. Shipping of physical products e.g. Visitor Oyster cards are only eligible for the following countries; China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
11. Any Promotional Discount Code offered under the Promotion cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
12. The Promotional Discount Code is not valid for use in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.
13. The Promotional Discount Code is not negotiable or transferable. Promotional Codes are automatically void if sold, offered for sale, or if any attempt or offer is made to transfer the Promotional Discount Code and/or unique code for value. 

Eligibility

• 14. The Promotion is not open to VisitBritain/VisitEngland/JCB employees or members of the immediate families or households of VisitBritain/VisitEngland/JCB employees.
• 15. Persons under 18 years old are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

• 16. All personal information will be held and processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on www.visitbritainshop.com/world/en/privacy-policy

General

• 17. VisitBritain/VisitEngland reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion (in whole or in part), at their sole discretion.
• 18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
• 19. VisitBritain/VisitEngland shall have no liability for any system failure or other action or event which prevents a player from entering the Promotion.
• 20. VisitBritain/VisitEngland accept no liability or responsibility of any nature in relation to the Promotional Discount Code or in respect of any complaints regarding the use of the Promotional Discount Code or the consequences of taking the Promotional Discount Code to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• 21. In addition, no responsibility is accepted by VisitBritain/VisitEngland for Promotional Discount Codes lost, delayed or damaged in transmission.
• 22. These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent terms or conditions relating to the Promotion contained in or referred to in any other document.
• 23. VisitBritain/VisitEngland reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at their discretion without notice.
• 24. The Promotion is only available for products purchased for personal non-commercial use. The Promoter reserves the right to either refuse to issue Promotional Discount Codes or cancel any issued or disallow their redemption where they have grounds to believe that usage is or maybe intended for commercial use.
