Are the products on sale during this promotion refundable?
No, all products purchased with the 15% discount code are non-refundable.

Is the shipping cost included in the 15% discount offer?
No, shipping is not included, the 15% discount code is only applied to the product. For example, if the product is £100 and the shipping cost is £10, making a total of £110, the total cost after the 15% discount is applied is £100 x 0.15 = £85 + £10 = £95.

Which countries can you ship physical products to (eg Visitor Oyster card)?
Shipping of physical products such as Visitor Oyster cards are only eligible for the following countries; China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

When does the promotion start and end?
The main promotion period is open from 02nd March 2026 at 09.30am Japan time and 01st March 2027 at 23:59 Japan time, subject to availability.

How can I use this offer?
To use the offer, simply add eligible product(s) in the VisitBritain Shop to your basket (see Which products are included in the promotion? to see what products are eligible). At checkout apply the discount code JCBOFFER and the total order price will show the discounted amount.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can use this discount code?
Yes, only one discount can be used at the checkout per email address per month.

What payment cards can I use to pay for the discounted products?
Only JCB cards (all types) are valid for this promotion. Any other payment card (such as Visa or Mastercard) are not valid and will not work.

Is there a cap on how many products I can buy using the 15% discount code?
Yes, the 15% discount is capped at £20 per order. For example, if a product costs £100, then with a 15% discount it would be £15 off and therefore eligible as it is under the £20 cap.

How is the cap applied on the VB Shop Japan site as the currency is in Japanese Yen?
For the VB Shop Japan website, the £20 cap will be dynamically calculated based on the current exchange rate for £20. The currency rate is updated by VisitBritain monthly.

Can I swap or transfer my JCB Cardmembers discount code?
Unfortunately, you cannot swap or transfer your JCB Cardmembers discount code. Please note that eligible experiences, guided tours and attraction tickets must not be resold.
